What is the most precious item in your life? The one thing that you cannot do without. The thing in life you value the most. This question does leave some room for interpretation. There is no wrong interpretation. Please answer with what pops into your head first. Please do not over think it!
The most precious thing in my life would be my family. Life wouldn’t be the same without my family. Family is always there for you and they always know exactly what to do. I always appreciate my family and love to spend time with them. that is why they are the most precious thing in my life.

1. What is the best thing about living where you do?
I like how everyone knows each other. unlike in the city where people get robbed walking down a stair case. We all know each other in this little community
2. Tell us why your school is unique?
My School is unique because we do blogging and have wikispaces. Not a lot of people even know about this. It gives us a good start in a career with computers.
For my 3 words project I chose “Never Give Up” I chose these words because they have meaning after meaning inside them. These three words could mean different things for different people. For a sports player they could mean keep practising. For a Presidental canidate it could mean tto keep going until you win the prize.(President)
What are your hopes, dreams, fears, changes, etc
Some of my hopes for high school are to get good grades, make some new friends, and have fun while learning. Getting good grades is my top priority going into high school. My dreams are to make some kind of team, or club. That way I can meet new people and do something that’s fun. Some of my fears are getting bad grades, getting a bad teacher, and having certain kids in my classes. Some changes I’m going to make are paying attention more in class, and studying for my tests sooner and harder. I pretty confident I will do fine in High School.
Here is one of my favorite quotes from Martin Luther King Jr.
“I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made straight and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.”
Martin Luther King, Jr.

We have no school on Monday because it’s Martin Luther King Jr Day. His real birthday is on January 15. They try to make the holiday near is birthday. I think we have off on this day because it’s a day where we should remember him and all that he did in his lifetime. He helped a lot of people and chanded the way we lool at people today. Back when segregation was going on he changed people’s minds. He was later assasinated because he helped so many people and other’s didn’t like it.
Outside of parents, who has influenced your life more than anyone else; who had an impact on your life and what was it about that person that meant something to you.
My cousins and friends have infuenced me a lot. They taught me a lot and told me what’s right and what’s wrong. What’s fun and what’s boring. They impact my life because they keep out of trouble and we have fun. I don’t know where I would be without all of them.
- Debate - In its truest form, debate is a refined series of verbal arguments that require many people talking in rapid succession. Although you can do debate in an elluminate session, the passing of the mic is awkward at best and the visual separation of the competing sides is not possible.
- Networking - It is why we still come to conferences. Finding great people that you want to work with and that will challenge you is something that is lacking in the online world. A social network does create a sense of community amongst many people, but it the bonds forged are not immediate. They take time and tending. In face-to-face communication, it is easy to see the worthwhile. It is easy to recognize excellence. That is what classroom time can be: the search and recognition for excellence (in writing, in math, in science, etc.)
This post really dragged me in. The fact of going to school over the internet is an awesome idea. You don’t have to wake up early to catch a bus. You wake up and walk over to your computer. There is still some problems though. What if your computer crashes, or the power goes off, or you lose internet connection. There is a lot of different ways. When you are talking to a teacher over the internet and you have a question. That teacher may have to answer that question like 20 times, because all of the other student didn’t hear the question. When you are all together in one room then everyone hears your question and the teacher only has to answer it once.
Have you ever felt like an outsider, a person that doesn’t belong. Well that’s how I felt from July 2nd to July 11th. I took a trip to Italy over the summer and I had a blast. It was by far the most amazing thing that I ever experienced. I visited Venice, Florence, and Rome. I saw some amazing sites and had some awesome food. I saw the leaning tower of Pisa. Went to taste vinegar. I visited Vatican City and took a night tour. It was an amazing site. When we went inside I saw a lot of sculptures. Many of them from Michaelangelo. While inside we visited the Sistine Chapel. If you’re Italian then you know Italian food is good. Well I had it for ten days straight. Different stuff every night. I had about 4 different pastas, 3 different chickens and all home made. We even stopped at a zoo and checked out the animals there. The over all best part of it though was riding in the Gondola in Venice. Venice is built on top of water so the people have to get around in boats. NO CARS AT ALL. I had a blast and would do it again anytime. I have some pictures here if you want to see them.
